Eyyûb Sultan Complex is a great project that will add wealth and prestige to Europe's cultural heritage with its architectural structure. Our complex will strengthen the idea that members of different faiths can live in peace on the basis of respect. The fact that our project has received great support from the Municipality, Governorship, Government Officials, Churches, Jewish community and non-governmental organizations from the very beginning makes us happy, and also increases the hope that we can build our future together on love and respect.

This devoted project is valuable enough to attract everyone's attention. As central and local governments, the mission of public officials in each office is to provide suitable environments in which each citizen can live according to their needs, desires, interests and beliefs. Strasbourg's characterization as the city of interfaith dialogue is due to the fact that it includes every community within it. This is the only way to ensure a more stable society.

I greet you with our joint working group, the National Muslim Associations Council and the officials of the Islamic authorities, for your investment. This desire, similar to the desire of Christendom to engage in dialogue, will enable us to get to know each other better and then to solve the problems that you and society await resolution.

I greet the quality work done within this institution and especially the dialogue effort. We are in a place where we regularly meet on the occasion of open door days, dialogue works and various activities. I would like to state that the district we are in, famous for its activities, Meinau (Meno), has Eyyub Sultan Mosque and many volunteers in it.

Religions have always contributed to the construction of religious structures, thereby shaping the urban landscape of our cities and villages. Religious communities have always expressed the need to preserve their religious duties, and these temples have become structures reflecting the religious belonging of the inhabitants of a town.

In accordance with the words of the Prophet, who taught that the best of people is the most beneficial person for humanity, the Eyyub Sultan Complex, which was developed in consultation with the representative bodies of Muslim communities and public authorities, will not be a pure place of worship dedicated to Muslims. We are proud to manage this outstanding project that will come to life with the support of all of us.
